I happened to catch this brief interview on this evening's News at Ten ... last couple of minutes ... shouldn't expect much but what there was, was poor: no film Oscar / not working with Eastwood / ... Still: at least they mentioned his up-coming London concert in the New Year ... even if they omitted to mention the cancelled ones this year.
got in just as it finished but i heard about it. i always wondered why Morricone always had such endless and well-known stock answers over the years. But i realised he is usually always interviewed by non-film media people who spunk away their opportunity by asking him the same old boring predictable questions!!!! it was ever thus. Expect a lot more of the same over the next two months.
