A horrible event today in Peshawar, with 130 people killed, most of them children it seems.

Amer, my thoughts go out to you and your fellow countrymen. I have nothing but fond memories of Pakistan, the love and fellowship shown to me there.

Know that our thoughts go out to you today my friend.

Thank you Mike. This is the most horrendous example of brutality to happen ever. My heart is in my mouth. We are beyond grief and numb with shock. This Horrific tragedy is a grim reminder that in this war against terrorism the west is not the only cliched target. Over 140 Pakistani school children massacred in todays terrorist attack in a govt school in Peshawer.

Events like these really make me fearful for the future of children.
Many hearts are with your country Amer.

Very tragic, very disturbing. Supposedly the word taliban means student. Can that be right? My sympathies to the good people of Pakistan, and there are many. Unfortunately there are also too many evil ones. I won't state what my hopes are for them, but I'm sure most people would think the same.

Like many I have become fairly desensitized to the news of atrocities like this, but nearly 140 children!!!

A bitterly black day.
