With all this talk about KING SOLOMON'S,

what are your thoughts on the sequel score by Michael Linn?

Sounds pretty good to me! With some nice references to Jerry.

I just bought a Sealed Mint copy for $5.99 plus postage at Amazon.

Had never heard of this one, but just listened to the full album on Youtube. Hit and miss, some nice lush orchestrations at times that kinda remind me of Brian May a little, but the 80's synth touches I didn't care for (The "Goldsmith Effect" - Slap useless farting 80's synths over an orchestra just 'cause!) and the ensemble often sounds on the smallish side.

Looks like this composer died at 43, that's pretty sad. He has a handful of other composing credits on IMDB. Anyone familiar with his other work?

I bought this as a result of the first score and watching both films. I just couldn't get into it. I know it took a long time for LLL to sell it, so I can't imagine another label taking it on as a reissue. Glad you found it for a good price, zooba.

I gotta admit I picked this one up and was pretty disappointed. LLL did a great job and kudos to them for doing it but this score honestly pales in comparison to Goldsmith's, sadly.

Linn's score surprised me and it is more enjoyable than expected.

Seems like he was more often music editor than composer.
