I haven't seen it but I like Hoenig (especially his 1987 album Xcept One), and the whole film is on youtube so maybe I'll watch it one day. A pity there is no score on the end credits.
It's directed by Mark L. Lester who used to hire Tangerine Dream (Firestarter) and Chris Franke (Night Of The Running Man, Public Enemies) a couple of times, plus Horner with synths in Commando, so he was clearly a fan of these kind of scores.
