It's a Christmas song with a very melancholic melody sung by children accompanied by piano. Driving me crazy, need to know!

Is it from a musical production or film? Where did you hear it?

The radio. I don't think it's from a film but it has the Charlie Brown kids' sound, if you follow.

Not that song from HOME ALONE, then? "Somewhere in My Memory" has a kid-sounding choir (though I have my doubts about that one).

Unreal. Dana, the chemistry remains. I mean you ask about a film, I respond with something about sounding like a Charlie Brown thing...and would you believe that's just what it is: "Christmas Time Is Here". The miracle of FSMessageboard and Google. Scary.

The mojo is still there! That and the radar.

Glad you found it. You're right though, a bit on the melancholic side...

You are psychic Dana. So few clues and yet you knew.
I remember that song, Howard, from long ago.

Well, my doctor told me I'm psychotic... Is that the same thing?

Gotcha, joan. That and Claude Thornhill's "Snowfall".

Based on your description I have a strong feeling it's "Christmas Canon" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I hope it's the one you're looking for as it's one of my favorite holiday tracks.

Beanis, it's funny but that song was what kept coming up in my initial search.
