MONDAY, NOVEMBER 24

GET IT WHILE YOU CAN---Janis Joplin biomovie underway starring Amy Adams. Jean-Marc Vallee (DALLAS BUYERS CLUB) is in negotiations to direct.

SHERLOCK---co-creator Mark Gatiss said Season 4's standalone special will explain the appearance of Moriarity, who had committed suicide earlier, in Season 3's finale. He commented on if Moriarity will return in addition to the standalone, "Well, it's very hard to put a lid on Andrew Scott."

TERMINATOR: GENISYS---photo released of Arnold Schwarzenegger as an aged T-800.

CONSTANTINE---NBC halted production on the series until it decides on if it will be renewed.

THE EXPENDABLES 3---Sylvester Stallone blamed part of the sequel's disappointing success on its PG-13 rating, “I believe it was a horrible miscalculation on everyone’s part in trying to reach a wider audience, but in doing such, diminish the violence that the audience expects. I’m quite certain it won’t happen again.” He added a major character may be killed off in the next sequel, “[It's is a big conflict for me because in an R-rated film it is difficult to believe that none of the heroes die. I personally just believe that the characters become identifiable and their demise could put a dark cloud over an audience exiting the theatre after seeing the film. But that may change in EXPENDABLES 4…I have actually entertained the idea of putting the group into such an unnatural environment that it, in an of itself, creates extra suspense and tension: the 'fish out of water' scenario. That environment might not be time travel, but nearly just as jarring."

HOMELAND---Victoria Clark has joined the cast as Carrie's mother.

X-MEN: APOCALYPSE---Idris Elba is one of three candidates to play Apocalypse.

THE LAST KINGDOM---BBC/BBC America eight-episode Viking series underway based on THE SAXON STORIES novels. Rutger Hauer and Alexander Dreymon star.

JEKYLL & HYDE---ITV ten-episode series underway set in 1930s London with Dr. Jekyll's grandson suffering from his grandfather's "curse". Colin Teague (BEING HUMAN) is the director.

FORGIVE ME, LEONARD PEACOCK---movie underway based on the novel by Matthew Quick (SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK). Channing Tatum is the co-director/producer and may star.

I have been watching the first few season of Charmed. Amy Adams is a guest star in one of the episodes. I seem to recall her on Smallville as well in an early episode. Love her in Enchanted.
