All said, it's a pleasure to have publishers to provide these opportunities. Although I'm not so keen on Gianni Ferrio, but I can see many are. This Ferrio soundtrack is quite different to any other available releases. It is perhaps the only orchestral work? In any case, I think most would consider this his best. About the movie titles, they are co-Italian/French/German productions, so it is not so obvious. I guess technically the English title is as good as anything else (some previous releases had German titles), although given the composers, I still put the Italian names in my database! Ferrio's magnum! A fitting tribute. I, however, have no experience with Ferrio. 1. La Luz Del Fin Del Mundo 2. Das Licht Am Ende Der Welt 3. Il Faro In Capo Al Mondo 4. Le Phare du bout du monde 5. The Light at the Edge of the World 6. Guang zài shìjiè de bianyuán One of the above. Who can say which is proper? According to Quartet, British-USA-Italian coproduction I'm hoping the new transfer sounds a little less "cloudy" than the GDM, however it may be the same, not a new transfer by Fuiano for Quartet, correct me if I'm wrong. Now you can hear the whole score in excellent quality, remastered by Claudio Fuiano from the first-generation master tapes. Which ever ways these things are, I'm living la dolce vita.
