WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 19
GAME OF THRONES---Charles Dance said a theatrical movie may be in the future, "There's talk of eventually trying to do a feature film. But I don't know which of the storylines. There's so much to cram into a film." Dance's character, Lord Lannister, was killed off at the end of Season 4, but he will return for a cameo in Season 5, "Well, only my body!"
THE MOUNTAIN BETWEEN US---Rosamund Pike (GONE GIRL) is in talks to star with Charlie Hunnam (SONS OF ANARCHY) in this movie based on the novel about two injured survivors of a plane that crashed in the mountains---a beautiful writer on her way to her wedding who falls in love with a doctor who is estranged from his wife.
NCIS---photo released from the November 25 episode in which Jamie Bamber (BATTLESTAR GALACTICA) guest stars as Bishop's husband, Jake. The episode has DiNozzo, Bishop and Jake working on an NCIS terrorist case while stranded in Dulles airport during Thanksgiving.
X-MEN: APOCALYPSE---rumored candidates for the role of Phoenix are Elle Fanning, Chloe Moretz and Hailee Steinfeld. Candidates for Cyclops are Timothee Chalamet, Ben Hardy and Charlie Rowe.
CREED---Sylvester Stallone confirmed the spinoff movie about Rocky mentoring the boxer grandson of Apollo Creed for a big boxing match will start filming in January. Stallone also said he and Bruce Willis have settled their dispute after Willis was fired from THE EXPENDABLES 3 due to Willis' excessive salary demands.
TABOO---new FX series underway starring Tom Hardy as an 1836 adventurer who returns to England from Africa to avenge his father's murder and refuse to sell the family business to the East India Company in order to create his own business empire. The series is based on an idea by Hardy and his father with the script written by Steven Knight (EASTERN PROMISES). Ridley Scott is co-producer.
CORTES---new HBO/Martin Scorsese series underway about Spanish conquistador Hernan Cotes' conquest of Montezuma's Aztec empire and the Mayan girl who helped him. Benecio Del Toro and Laura Bickford star.
LUTHER---Fox remake pilot underway of the BBC cop series that starred Idris Elba.
