And what about Parrish, rome adventure and othe late steiner's scores ? In 2013 this was Ray's reply about the late Steiner scores. So it seems not much survives: "Nothing from ALL MINE TO GIVE survives except a demo recording of the song. SPENCER'S MOUNTAIN only survives in Steiner acetates - about 20 minutes worth. YOUNGBLOOD HAWKE only survives in Steiner acetates, about 12 minutes; same with SUSAN SLADE. One cue from TWO ON A GUILLOTINE survives on acetate. Nothing on tape or disc from FORT DOBBS, RACHEL CADE, ROME ADVENTURE, JOHN PAUL JONES, PORTRAIT OF A MOBSTER. I have no idea what Fox has on CHINA GATE, which was Victor Young's last score and was finished by Steiner." http://filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?threadID=98014&forumID=1&archive=0 And as to THE HANGING TREE: "90 per cent of the score survives in mono mag sound, including the song. Licensing, for song and score, is another bag of worms." http://filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?threadID=76129&forumID=1&archive=0 some score sadly lost and what about tapes for GWTW ? Are they still exist ?

some score sadly lost I see now that in 2004 - which is now 10 years ago! - there were even plans to release the original tracks of PARRISH, A MAJORITY OF ONE and A DISTANT TRUMPET on the BYU label. But it did never happen till now. But why? Legal and licensing problems, too expensive to produce, fewer and fewer collectors interested in buying those Steiner CDs? Or what are the reasons? "Nearly all the cues to PARRISH survive in mono mag sound. Unfortunately, the field fire (boo hoo) and the Naval Academy (retread) cues do not. Assuming we have no problems owing to the Warner Bros. records release (theoretically, we shouldn't since it was a re-recording), BYU will eventually release PARRISH. There are others to precede it in the Mag series, most likely A DISTANT TRUMPET and A MAJORITY OF ONE." http://filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?threadID=19091&forumID=1&archive=1

Are they still exist ? GWTW was released almost complete by Rhino/Turner many years ago on a 2 disc set.
