The Ford Brothers take the story to India for the sequel, THE DEAD 2, spanning the subcontinent from majestic historical Rajasthan to the sun-baked wastes of the Thar Desert. Returning for more scoring duties, composer Imran Ahmad evokes the thematic and signature sounds from the original film, whilst adding a fresh layer of dark, foreboding themes and textures to create an ethnic, evocative score that sizzles with danger licks and haunting motifs. This ominous music evokes all the classic trademarks of horror and drama, reinforced with wild, exotic instrumental textures that tantalize and thrill!

Composer Vincent Gillioz creates a suspenseful, emotion-laden score in his signature style of chamber-like instrumental colours layered and juxtaposed with touches of lyricism. The music charts an organic course which runs parallel to Chris Mulkey's unravelling universe, devolving from melody and consonant chords into friction and dissonance, a stark yet provocative study of contrasts to create a unique sonic atmosphere that fans of this genre will not want to miss!
