I just saw the film, really good, I may finally have found a sequel that is actually better than the first one.

The score to number 1 from 1996 was by Bjørn J;son Lindh, while this one got a Søderqvist score. I seem to remember that the first score was a bit more atmospheric-sounding than the primarily orchestral score for number 2. Fine enough, but I don't think all scenes needed an orchestral backdrop.

Does anyone know if some of Lindh's themes were used by Søderqvist? Why didn't Lindh score this one?

There is a download-only score album at Amazon. Anyone got that one?

Why didn't Lindh score this one?

I don`t know for sure but it is possible that he was too ill to score that movie. He died in december 2013. His last feature film that he scored was made in 2008.

I have no idea about any going-ons behind the scenes, but I do own this score. I don't play it very often, and I seem to remember a lot of thriller drones, but also some folk colours and cool electronic textures.
