THE HOT ZONE---Ridley Scott miniseries underway based on the book THE HOT ZONE: A TERRIFYING TRUE STORY OF THE ORIGINS OF THE EBOLA VIRUS. The miniseries will include current events about Ebola. Jeff Vintar (I, ROBOT) will write the script.
UNBROKEN---new trailer for the Angelina Jolie movie about Olympic star Louis Zamperini's ordeal as a POW in World War II.

STAR WARS: EPISODE VII---Warwick Davis (RETURN OF THE JEDI) confirmed he's returning for EPISODE VII.
TERMINATOR---in the original movie, Orion Pictures co-founder Mike Medavoy approached Arnold Schwarzennegger to play the Kyle Reese role and wanted OJ Simpson for the Terminator role. After Medavoy told James Cameron about his plans, Cameron commented, “I think I was on my knees retching.”
He said about his plans for a new Terminator franchise when the rights revert back to him in 2019, "I haven't really thought that far ahead yet. I've got plenty of time to think about it. It might be fun to completely re-invent the franchise. A lot has to do with what happens with it in the meantime, people may have Terminator fatigue."
PETE'S DRAGON---Robert Redford is in talks to star in this Walt Disney Pictures live-action/CGI remake of the 1977 animated movie.
GHOST IN THE SHELL---Scarlett Johansson was offered $10 million for the starring role in this live-action DreamWorks movie based on the manga. Johansson would replace Margot Robbie (THE WOLF OF WALL STREET) who left negotiations to appear in SUICIDE SQUAD. Rupert Sanders (SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN) is the director.
GAME OF THRONES---Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (LOST) will play Malko, a character not in the books. Also, flashbacks will be used in Season 5.
PACIFIC RIM---Guillermo del Toro said he's working on two more movies,"The direction we're going in is very different from the first. All I can say is some of your favorite characters come back, some others don't because we have decided that we're going to shoot ambitiously and say 'Let's hope we have three movies,’' so some characters come in at the end of the second, hoping that it will ramp up on the third one...you're gonna get a very different experience from the first one."
BEN-HUR---Pedro Pascal (GAME OF THRONES) is in talks to play Pontius Pilate in the remake movie.
THE AMERICANS---Frank Langella will join the cast in Season 3 as a KGB handler.
MINECRAFT---Shawn Levy (NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM) is in talks to direct the movie based on the video game.
GREEN ROOM---the FRIGHT NIGHT pair of Anton Yeltsin and Imogen Poots reunite for this movie about a punk rock band that is targeted for death after they witness a skinhead gang commit a murder.
SHADOWLAND---movie underway based on the fantasy novel with David Goyer as co-writer/executive producer.
