Since then, I've seen 110th Street (and the song ends up on a lot of my playlists!) and enjoy it on its own merit as one of the great Shaft-era flicks. And it still draws me into the Tarantino movie with precision, every time. I've always wanted to check out the score proper, but never got around to it.
