As long as we are suggesting projects, I will try again with THE NIGHT OF THE HUNTER. What the hell, what harm can it do?

By the way, thanks for all your great recordings. I have most of them.

I would love to do NIGHT OF THE HUNTER.....will have to enquire if any scores/sketches exist?

I know someone on this board said it exists. I want to say it was William Stromberg (he's mentioned wanting to record it for years) but I could be wrong on that.

With The Alamo, El Cid, Fall of the Roman Empire etc now removed from the top of the to-do list, surely a prime Moross score like The War Lord must be rising towards the top.

Personally, I'd like The Black Shield of Falworth. Maybe we could at least have a suite at some point.

As long as we are suggesting projects, I will try again with THE NIGHT OF THE HUNTER.

In that case I may as well try again with THE PRIDE AND THE PASSION. A wonderful score which has far more music than the mono OST album.

I did make contact with the library holding Antheil's music 4 years ago but never got anywhere with them...I will try again....

Just now I got an instant reply re the Antheil material.... looks promising but first have to get permission from the publisher of the music....

That's great... Please keep up your amazing works. Keep us happy!!

Well the busier with my proper job of contracting and producing orchestral sessions for other composers means I can save more money for classic film music recordings! So if you are a composer "gis us a job" as profits got to film score restoration!!!

Well I am afraid I am not a composer but I can say that I have almost every title you have restored and released... Just waiting for Mister Moses right now wink

James, I hope you are feeling better. I'm sure doing one (or more) classic film score CD(s) will reinvigorate you! smile

I have nearly all your CDs, especially like The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes.

Ready to try Max Steiner? The Hanging Tree, or?

Bernard Herrmann, On Dangerous Ground?

Miklos Rozsa, The Thief of Bagdad? Sahara?

Whatever the CDs you do in the future, you have a sale with me! smile
