More info on the Howard Shore titles: HOWE Records printed up 120 slip cases to house all 3 new cds. Mr Shore signed all those copies and gave us an online exclusive to sell them, much like what we do when Bear's label, Shadows and Sparks, has a release. The price is $59.98 for the set, and it will ONLY be sold in a set configuration. Once they are gone they are gone, but you will still be able to buy them individually through Amazon and other fine online retailers MV

I'm totally unable to resist anything by Alfred Newman or Shirley Walker, and I'll admit I'm somewhat tempted by Titan AE as well. The Shore set signed is also really cool! I'm impressed LLL has now done a score from 1941! (I was expecting the 20+ years more recent Nevada Smith from them.) Now my hopes of them getting around to Korngold's masterpieces are reignited... Yes! Batman: The Animated Series, Vol. 3 next week! I really had not expected it this soon. Figured it was going to be one of the Black Friday titles. Well this just gives me a whole bunch of fantastic music to listen to through October. I am so excited to see which episodes are included, regardless of what they are since I'm looking forward to so many of them. B:TAS 3 will be ordered promptly with Age of Extinction. Will have to pass on the Shore titles for now, as cool as that would be to get Shore's signature, since I shamefully haven't seen any of these Cronenbergs. I think I had better cross Dead Ringers off that list this October. As for Titan A.E., wasn't expecting this at all, but I actually am a fan of Graeme Revell, especially in sci-fi action mode, so I'm definitely interested in hearing his score for this animated adventure. What a great bunch of releases all around! Seriously, I cannot wait for B:TAS Vol. 3.

Pie in the sky wishful thinking - The last title = The Mummy. Well, I can dream ... Looking forward to seeing the Black Friday spend-fest (LLLR always seem to have great ones for Black Friday. Batman Returns and Star Trek V anyone?).

If past history is any indication, LLL will let one of the DC animated fansites premiere the track list sometime this week. I'd keep your eye on here: http://www.worldsfinestonline.com/

He wasn't hoping those are this year's Black Friday's titles; He was mentioning favorite Black Friday titles of his from prior years.

Also hoping that the Richard Bronskill score is "What is Reality?" and not "Moon of the Wolf". But on a more positive note, I'm so happy that "Mudslide" is on this set! La La Land (and producers John Takis and Neil S. Bulk), you rock!
