For the last five weeks our TV viewing has included this wonderful Swedish production with the umbrella name Crimes of Passion, a six-part 90 min episode series of murder(s) within a small community (a la Agatha Christie) featuring three regular characters: Puck, Eje and Christer.
All three: Tuva Novotny, Linus Wahlgren and Ola Rapace play their parts very well and have great supporting casts (for as long as such characters survive! ) and the 1950s' settings are well portrayed (though we do question whether smoking was quite that prevalent). The locations are gorgeous - we do so want to visit - and the music generally good to wonderful, including a superb, albeit brief, title song performed by Isabella Lundgren*.
If there's any justice the producers of Bond24 had better be looking in her direction ...
And the music underscore and sources - a mixture of styles including modern synths, as conceived and produced by frid & frid - is worth a release. I've not heard of any of these music artists prior to this TV series but presumably each/all have some public exposure in their homeland(s).
* I see there is one album by this lovely vocalist on Amazon ... it carries a high price tag ... and another on which she features on two or three songs with which I'm tempted.
