Pretty sure my Story of Star Wars LP still had the "Blast it, Biggs" line.

It definitely does.

Yes, it does. I played that record to death as a kid. I wish they'd release a CD of it.

Me too! It's "available" on YouTube.

"Blast it, Biggs!" is not on the "Story of" album, nor would it be. That album uses stereo music and effects, but the dialogue track is from the mono mix (where he said "Wedge"), hence the inclusion of "Close the blast doors" and other alternate takes, "Hang on back there" for instance.

Actually the line is omitted entirely. But yes, it is a different take on "Hang on back there."

Oh my gosh. All these years and "close the blast doors" is on the story record? How weird that I always remembered it so clearly but never remembered it sounding like that.

It's really a remarkable arrangement of the film.

You are of course correct. I should have been clearer.

Thanks!

Thought some STAR WARS fans would find this of interest, even though it's not about music...
