I'm certainly excited, especially because Prague won't collide with Krakow next year. Keep us updated, Petr!

I can't think of any previous John Powell concert that would actually cover more of his works... he seems to be represented only by How to Train Your Dragon and two scores he did with HGW during the concerts featuring his music... Or can anyone think of any John Powell concerts?

HGW did one in Spain years ago and another one in Paris if I remember correctly and that's about it... or anything else?

No, I think you're right. There haven't been many concerts with either of those two.

Super late reply, I know, but Powell also did a one-off concert with Hans Zimmer for their score to Kung Fu Panda 2.

No idea what it was like, though.

It was more like a short performance before at the premiere or something like that, right? Something like Zimmer did with Inception or maybe some of the Pirates too? I think he certainly did something like this more than once.

Not full length concert... with the full orchestra, choir and soloists in proper concert enviroment.

But noted smile

I definitely want to go this time (and I don't think it collides with anything else that I'm aware of), but due to other obligations in my life, I don't think I can decide before mid March next year. I just hope they still have some press passes by then, and that I will be able to book cheap flights and hotels. Time will show.

John Powell was one of the guests at Ghent years ago.
