How so very sad. My first introduction to the Jackie & Roy duo was an excellent LP album 'Lovesick.' Later, was fortunate to have seen her perform at Carnegie Hall with Roy after release of their CTI label 'Time and Love' album. Later, again at Carnegie in a tribute to Alec Wilder. Her solo album 'So Many Stars' is my favorite of hers. All the songs came from two programs from the NPR 'American Popular Song' series hosted by Wilder. Three songs amongst them, "Spring Can Really Hang You Up The Most" (music by Tommy Wolf, lyric by Fran Landesman,) 'Darn That Dream' (music by Jimmy Van Heusen, lyric by Eddie DeLange,) and "Remember My Child" (music by Alec Wilder, lyric by William Engvick) are so beautifully rendered. Condolences to family. To Jackie (and Roy) - THANKS for all your pleasurable music.
