My favorite Star Trek episode score would be whichever one included the most re-used music. That way I could get as many of those motifs and "stingers" that made the music so memorable. Don't know which episode(s) that would be, though. Those of you who plunked down for the TOS megabox (or were handed one by Adam B.) would be able to determine exactly which episodes have the most re-used music.
Well, that depends on which season you want to listen to.
From season I, it's a real close tie between a few episodes. I think Charlie X, Enemy Within & Naked Time were all used the most. But even the others were used a lot. Season one really re-used every episode's music and quite often. There really weren't any episodes the editors did not re-use, unlike season 2 & 3.
From Season II, I'd say Friday's Child and Doomsday Machine were re-used the most.
Season III...tough call, but Spock's Brain was re-used in nearly every one that had tracked music. Who is Adam b and how do I become his friend?
