Maybe I'm crazy, but it seems to me a title like this would have potential to break out beyond the core audience of niche collectors like us.
So why haven't we seen a label tackle this? Are there preservation issues with these titles? The original soundtracks hardly cover everything, when you consider the running times of the films and the variations on themes. Plus the albums (especially Part II) contain a lot of medleys as opposed to stand-alone cues.

According to MV, it's one of those difficult, but "never say never releases" ...
This trilogy was always my tops for the wish list. I don't understand either why this was never touched for updates. I bought the complete trilogy set that came with some Ennio Morricone scores by Deja Vu pretty cheap. The set was called The Mafia Movies and has 5 discs. I know its not the original but it is pretty close to satisfy me right now.
