Was this release packaged ORIGINALLY in an older, bigger, 2-cd jewel case that had two separate "doors"?

The used copy I just got has a single "door", with a single "gate" that holds both the cd's. The paper insert makes me think it was otherwise originally.

I believe what you got is all the packaging ever was...single gate, double CDs and an insert booklet.

I have a copy of the Preamble issue and it does have double doors. A clamshell if you like. There is a front insert, a back insert, and a booklet. Hope that helps.

A later issue was in a slim case. The Spain re-issue is also in a slim case.

Thank you MGH and Increbula.

One of my insert spines says "Disc One," which made me think it used to be in a "clamshell."

There is never a time when you, Bob, fail to produce definitive visual evidence. Whatta guy!

Mine is the orange-sherbet-colored spine.
