INTERSTELLAR---poster released for the Christopher Nolan sci fi movie starring Matthew McConaughey, Michael Caine, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and John Lithgow.
TRUE DETECTIVE---new candidates for the lead female role of Sheriff Ani Bezzerides that were "invited back to read this week for the coveted role." are Jaimie Alexander, Jessica Biel, Rosario Dawson, Malin Ackerman, Kelly Reilly, Brit Marling and Oona Chaplin. Previously mentioned candidates are Elisabeth Moss and Rachel McAdams.
BOURNE 5---Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass are in negotiations with Universal Pictures to return for the fifth movie in the franchise. It will premiere on July 16, 2016 which had originally been assigned to the Jeremy Renner Bourne movie.
OUR BRAND IS CRISIS---Billy Bob Thornton is in negotiations to co-star with Sandra Bullock in this comedy movie based on the documentary about former Bill Clinton political consultants who get involved in Bolivia's presidential election.
STAR WARS: EPISODE VII---Greg Grunberg (HEROES) confirmed he will reunite with childhood friend JJ Abrams with a minor role in the sequel, “Yes...it Is safe to assume I have a role in #StarWarsEpisodeVII – If I say more than that, Jj will have me killed.”
VACATION---Leslie Mann is in negotiations to co-star in the reboot of the NATIONAL LAMPOON'S VACATION franchise. Mann will play Rusty Griswold's sister, Audrey, who is married to a tv anchorman played by Chris Hemsworth.
DAREDEVIL---Scott Glenn (THE RIGHT STUFF, THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER) will play Stick, Daredevil's mentor.
I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER---Sony Pictures reboot movie underway from writer/director Mike Flanagan (OCULUS). Jennifer Love Hewitt and Sarah Michelle Gellar starred in the original movie.
THE FLASH---Amanda Pays will play Dr. Tina McGee, the same role she played in the original series. In the reboot series, Dr. McGee works for a rival tech company.
ISRA-88---sci fi movie underway starring Sean Maher (FIREFLY) as a scientist who goes insane on a lengthy mission to discover the end of the universe.
LOVE---Judd Apatow/Netflix sitcom about modern relationships. Paul Rust and Gillian Jacobs star.
