Being a fan of this LP for 30 years, I know that there was a Japanese CD back in 1984, which seems to be totally unavailable now. Any fans of this record out there?

Especially Quincy Jones' "Grace" is such a wonderful track, or tracks by Bill Conti or Philip Glass but they're not available elsewhere, or am I mistaken? Does anybody know anything about a digital version?

I always enjoyed the album and was able to pick up the CD when I was station in Japan in 1989. It looks like the CD just went on ebay

As much as any fan of this album, I'd love to see one of our intrepid, risk-taking soundtrack labels remaster and re-issue this one.

But when Ford A. Thaxton is asked for his opinion of this proposition by one of the label honchos, what do you think his response will be?

I don't know what Ford would say, but given the track list, it looks to be an absolute licensing nightmare. And not geared toward this crowd, in any case, so don't know why our people would take on such a job.

I would love to be wrong, sounds like it would be a fun if dated album!

... or Philip Glass

Glass's "Lighting of the Torch" is a great piece! I've had this LP since 1984 and would never give it up.

Oh, I remember that! But wasn't that the part with this poem? I remember only the line: "The games are over. Now the memories begin." Pardon my ignorance but is that a well-know poem?
