O.K. perhaps the Actor isn't truly an American, but you know what I mean. This is my favorite scene from 'In Bruges'.

Yeah, Storyteller, best you stay in America, it's a bad world out there, esp. those Europeans.

You're right. There were no Americans to be seen until almost 1942!

(This is fun - more, more!)

Fast food, Fat profits: Obesity in America

rather than be indignant in the face of truth, I decided to query the facts ... apparently we truly are #1 frown

Top 10 Most Obese Countries:
----------------------------------
1. United States
2. China
3. India
4. Russia
5. Brazil
6. Mexico
7. Egypt
8. Germany
9. Pakistan
10. Indonesia

One thing I did notice with a certain resident group from a foreign country with a lot of engineers working in the US is that once their women get to the US ... they gain substantial weight ... even just eating their own cuisine (same as happens for #6 in the list).

They say it's due to portion size (and sugar), and I believe it.

When I was in Boston last year I did notice that the potions served in restaurants were of a significantly larger size then what I'm used to in my country.

I could basically order a starter, and that would be dinner for me.

I certainly see the Germans!

"To the Reich, Ever to the Reich
Never to the Left, Forever to the Reich"... --

If this were a bastardized version of "1776"
