I see Oreo Cookies has a new limited-edition nearly every few months, and none of them has so far seemed very appealing to me, personally. This new flavor though is (basically) a vanilla cookie with pumpkin spice creme; if it were a chocolate cookie I think the pumpkin would have been 'lost'. This new limited Oreo sounds promising.Maybe.

There were watermelon and key lime flavors towards the beginning of the summer (both on the "golden" cookies) which were pretty good.
This cannot be!!

I've tried two or three limited editions. The last one I tried was fruit punch flavored, with the graham cookies. It was good.
But the one I've always wanted to try, even since I found out it wasn't a fake joe from an episode of "South Park", is candy corn flavored, but I've yet to see them anywhere.
I don't get the pumpkin flavored, coconut flavored, and another flavor I dont' recall at the monent, love. I see coconut flavors everwhere but I've yet to see people but them or empty spots for the product. I don't get it.

Also what part of this actually makes it an Oreo? Different cookie, different filling. I know the big thing nowadays is to alter the recipe of famous food items, (Banana Twinkies, dark chocolate Three Musketeers) but this is stretching it.
Sounds to me like you haven't been to the Oreo section of your local grocery in the last 5 years or so  . Golden Oreo cookies have eternal shelf space in the store.
The "regular" Oreo cookies are original (chocolate w/ vanilla creme), golden (vanilla w/ vanilla creme), peanut butter creme w/ chocolate cookies, chocolate creme w. chocolate cookies, chocolate creme w. vanilla cookies, and (i think) mint creme with chocolate cookies. Then, each (or most) of those are available in "double stuff" versions with extra creme. May be other "regular" varieties I'm missing, but those are the ones I remember seeing.
And then there are the "special"/"limited" edition items, strange flavors that come and go with the seasons, which almost certainly only sell because they're new, or wacky, but they sell Enough plus they create buzz for the company so whether you want to try a new flavor or not, you are thinking "Oreo" either way.
I'd just as soon bake a tray of cookies, myself - costs less, tastes better. But I'm not one to turn down any type of sugar if it's offered - so Oreos are p. good

Wow, yeah I missed all of that. I don't normally buy or eat cookies really. (Or Potato chips, junk food either) I make my own cookies during Xmas, but that's about it. Once a year I'll get a bag of Chips Ahoy.

There was also perpermint or candy cane flavored a Christmas or two ago.
But I agree -- I'd rather bake some cookies; cheaper and taste better. Pilbury Reeses Pieces cookies.
