You know, kids, WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT is (something of) a classic whose score could certainly do with an expansion that 2 CDs would remedy. Tee hee.

That would come from intrada.

I was hoping Quartet would start the season with some European classics! Can we hope for something like "Il clan dei siciliani" next time?

Does Siciliani require an expansion? How much music is missing?

I'd love to see Mr. Mom or Adventures in Babysitting or Terms of Endearment out again. So exciting. Can't wait to find out what's a new tomorrow!

Oh let it be "Gymkata". Regardless of it making sense or not, I want it if not just for the end music.

Faltermeyer anyone???

Yea, I was tempted to say Beverly Hills Cop, but a) a score release is unlikely to happen due to legal "red tape", and b) I don't think there's enough music to fill a 2CD set.

One or both of the titles could be:

-Ghostbusters
-Vangelis' The Bounty (Blade Runner is a little too high-profile and might require 3 CDs to do it justice, imo)
-Brazil

which low-profile Horner, Goldsmith, Barry, or Williams scores from the 80s are left to expand?

80s epic... Excalibur?
Would Baron Munchausen or Highlander merit the "epic" designation?

Too good to be true on all counts.

KING DAVID and TERMS OF ENDEARMENT would be instant buys for me. We will know the answer tomorrow. For me, the guessing stops here.

That would be a spectacular lineup. I do hope that some label soon gets to King David if it will not be Quartet's epic release.

Didn't we hear at some point that "Terms of Endearment" was coming?

Yep - not sure if they already had something in the works, or if the thread below gave them the idea to do it. Either way, I hope it's true.

How much music was in the film? Enough to fill 2CDs? Kind of doubt that... unless it would be complete score on CD 1 and remastered original album on CD2...

Baron Munchausen would be nice.
I played it just last week and I love that score.
Kamen captures the perfect balance between whimsy, bombast and that longing/tragic air he was so good at.
What will become of the Bar-on?
