Great news! This series always had excellent production values, but the DVD's are a but murky.
|

|
|
The first few series took very few liberties, it was only till later, and especially with the TV movies that they went into a different direction with some of the stories. But still riveting. And Brett remains the definitive Sherlock Holmes for me.

Update: On September 30th MPI Home Video is releasing a high-def Blu-ray Disc version of Sherlock Holmes - The Complete Granada Television Series, a 12-disc set priced at $229.99 SRP. This title has already been on DVD since 2007, but now it comes to BD format for the first time. Package art is below.
