Rings a bell here, too. Mostly featureless linear surfaces and surrounding spaces with tapering perspective and emphasised angularity. Usually a causeway with a massive drop underneath and a couple of "human" figures scurrying across with long trailing shadows. The scale would always be outsize.
I wonder what Frank Lloyd Wright would have thought?
