There are some 1980s song compilation soundtracks (LP/MC) that are very hard to find. Some of them are

Body Rock 1984
Where The Boys Are 1984
Gimme An F 1984
Tuff Turf 1984
Girls Just Want To Have Fun 1985

I find that a bit strange, as those soundtracks (none of them are on CD) had songs on them that had quite a big commercial appeal. These were not score albums. In fact, none of them had a second of score.

Maybe it all had to do with the fact that the movies more or less flopped?

Any other examples of this?
