WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 27

LAURA---remake of the classic 1944 Otto Preminger movie is underway with the script being written by James Ellroy (LA CONFIDENTIAL). The original movie starred Dana Andrews and Gene Tierney.

INFERNO---Tom Hanks and director Ron Howard reunite for the third Robert Langdon movie which starts filming in April, 2015. The plot has amnesiac Langdon teaming up with a female doctor to stop a global plague connected to Dante's INFERNO that threatens mankind. The script is by David Koepp (JURASSIC PARK).

THE JUDGE---poster released for the movie starring Robert Downey, Jr. and Robert Duvall in which a successful lawyer returns to his hometown for his mother's funeral and has to defend his estranged father, a judge, who has been charged with her murder. Vera Farmiga, Vincent D'Onofrio and Billy Bob Thornton also star.

FULL HOUSE---Warner Bros. TV sequel to the ABC sitcom is underway. John Stamos is playing a key role in the sequel project. Candace Cameron, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber are confirmed as returning. Bob Saget and Dave Coulier are connected to the sequel in some capacity, possibly in recurring roles.

THE WALKING DEAD---showrunner Scott Gimple talked about Robert Kirkman's comments which hinted Daryl Dixon is gay, "We know all sorts of things about the characters that we haven't revealed. [But] we're not holding back information on Daryl's sexuality as any sort of big reveal. The fact that there's still a question as to what Daryl's orientation is in Season 5 absolutely speaks to Daryl's character; he is a very guarded, very closed-off individual in a lot of ways."

I.T.---Pierce Brosnan stars in this movie in which a book publisher is threatened by an angry I.T. consultant. John Moore (A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD) is the director. William Wisher, Jr. (LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD) will rewrite the script.

KICK-A** 3---Chloe Moretz commented on the rumored sequel, "Sadly, I think I'm done with the character. Hit-Girl was a very cool character, but I don't think there will be any more movies. You make these movies for the fanboys, but nowadays everyone seems to pirate them rather than watch them in the movie theater."

DOCTOR STRANGE---Jack Huston (BOARDWALK EMPIRE) is being mentioned as another candidate for the starring role.

RICHARD PRYOR: IS IT SOMETHING I SAID?---Mike Epps will star in the Richard Pryor biomovie.

Why another remake of LAURA, pray tell?

Remember that TV version, when Jackie O's sister wanted to show she could act? Bad career move.

Wish they would write their own classic, instead of dredging up someone else's work.

Welcome to the Business...

I swear, living in a cave with no connection to anything is sounding more and more appealing.
