I agree that the score is awesome and deserves to be expanded. If I recall, there was a post from Doug or Roger at Intrada that indicated it was on their radar. I wouldn't be surprised if the expanded score came out within a year in fact.
I agree with the previous poster though, that just because a bootleg has surfaced, doesn't necessarily imply that a score release is imminent.
Actually, I think it's likely. My point is that leaked recording sessions come from many sources, having nothing to do with imminent CD releases.
Its common nowadays with home made sessions leaking over the net and that doesnt mean the Expansion is imminent. It doesnt apply in our universe. 'Phantom Menace' was just one instance. The score was ripped off the video game to begin with,If I remember correctly. And the complete ST:TMP was on the net for nearly decade before LLL got around to release it.

Yeah, based on that logic we should already long have Small Soldiers, Hollow Man and Rudy or Powder among others I've seen shopped around on e-bay.
Leaked recording sessions = complete release on the way.
Well, it indicates that the original tapes, or copies of them, have survived. So it offers some encouragement at least. Although I wonder if the distribution of a bootleg CD makes a label hesitant about investing in an official release.
In the case of Ghost and the Darkness, it was noticeable that the album had the African vocalization effects dialed back compared to the film version. An official release might have to be a 2-disc set, to include the original album mix.

I took a day off just to be able to order from the first batch of FSM's GREMLINS. Years before the release, at least two boots (one rather shitty sounding) were spinning around here to make up for something that may come in the future.
Certainly not in the league of GREMLINS but interesting to note: STAR TREK:INSURRECTION and FIRST KNIGHT both ended up as final purchases also, despite floating around as crystal-clear sounding boots prior.
People lost in the desert may drink bad water for survival, but back at home they buy water again as part of the grocery routine. People who love being home shall never cease to ask for THE GHOST AND THE DARKNESS!
