since we are getting films from the ABC theatrical library, how about a widescreen stereo Song of Norway?

You're confusing SONG OF NORWAY with BALLAD OF FINLAND. Easy mistake.

Widescreen is possible. Stereo not likely. No stereo on Kino Lorber's Blu-rays of KRAKATOA or CUSTER. Disney don't do dat.

I am NOT mistaking Song of Norway for anything else.
BTW -Disney does have the stereo track for Krakatoa. Too Bad we didn't get it along with the Overture and Intermission Music.
