Recently revisited the movie on a fantastic-looking bluray. I have always loved TD's propulsive score. Do we know if an expanded cd is possible? I understand TD keeps a tight lid on their material, but thought I would raise the question anyway...

Would be great, but there are only a couple unreleased cues IIRC. Even then - the wind synth/ostinato piece that plays a couple times (Cruise watering the lawn), is the opening of 1980's TANGRAM album for example. That was the major missing one for me, I was quite happy to find it was an existing piece. And there is some chattering percussion when Cruise is taking a phone call about the hooker from Curtis Armstrong. Anything else missing? I wish that Talking Heads song from the party scene was on the cd, but its accessible elsewhere. Well, of course we have the short cues "Return Of The Goodsens", "Joel And Porsche Take The Plunge" and "Catching The Egg", totalling two minutes. All of them available on the b*** Electronic Orgy. But of course we don't discuss them here.

If anyone locates the brief cue that plays when Joel's parents are going home from the airport, please let me know. I have over 70 TD cds but I don't recall hearing that piece anywhere...

The album Antique Dreams has this track that uses the same sequencer. Give it a minute or so. It's probably the closest thing that's been released. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvL3wlTkL4U There was an "Audio Movie Kit" that was released to radio stations to promote the film. The kit contained two LPs with trailers, interviews and eight music tracks. The music tracks included the airport track you mentioned.

The track is called "Return Of The Goodsens". See my earlier post. I think the bootleggers just called it that.
