Man, I wish I could bring some stuff from the "smallies."
But for this desert island:
Avatar - James Horner The Dark Knight Rises - Hans Zimmer And something from Elfman for variety: Terminator Salvation? Frankenweenie? Alice in Wonderland? The Wolfman? I think the panic of the moment, as I reach for my pile of '09-'14 CDs precariously balanced on that last nearby piece of the shipwreck, would help me decide.
You don't HAVE to pick a Williams. Is there another Zimmer you like better than Tin Tin?
I might add a signature like "Most vicious Zimmer hater on the planet" to prevent questions similar to "Don't you have more fav scores of him". But I'm not up for flames until this place gets bitter cold. Besides INCEPTION I am also very fond of THE DA VINCI CODE - but that's it so far.
I'm also a kinda hermit when it comes to get or appreciate new music, even from the biggies adressed in your current thread (even WAR HORSE is still sealed!), but that's only because I think I have already too much good movie scores here, worth of 6 weeks continuiously listening for soundtracks alone, classical music not even counting in.
Finally, I'm a collector of the hearts: only up for stuff I like or love. Even something from Jerry Goldsmith might not end up here if I'm not pleased. Filling just the gaps in my collection to close the book on 'A to Z' is not my thing really.
