Predator 2 - complete

Oh yeah yeah, cos JUDGMENT NIGHT & BLOWN AWAY, yeah yeah yeah. :-p

Oh I sure hope so! They haven't had a Silvestri release in quite some time. Its definitely an interesting guess but I'm not too sure if that is what's being released. Predator 2 was another collaboration between Alan and Stephen, but not a very famous one. On the other hand, Intrada did release two prior scores from this collab (JUDGEMENT NIGHT and BLOWN AWAY). I want to be 100% certain but to my knowledge Varese was supposed to release this one...
I'm not sure what to believe but if you're right I will be a very happy guy!

It's quite funny. A title has be out for years & then gets deleted, & it's a big panic from some people to try to buy it, even paying over the odds. As far as I can see it's only with soundtracks. Pop/classical, a disc comes out that you'd like, you buy it, you enjoy it.

I fail to see how you make that conclusion. I often have classical stuff on my wishlist for months.

But for 12 years? wink

There have been a lot of releases in 12 years.

So, since it's definitely BLOW OUT, what time do Intrada put titles up for sale?

Probably at the same time as they have announced everything for the past 10 years!

Yeah, but I'm usually working on Mondays so I haven't kept track of it.

Okay, 1am here. That might be more of a reason why I didn't know it.

Cheers.

Both titles now online; Blow Out (Donaggio) & Baytown Outlaws (Young)! Sweet.

Kinda disappointed that there isn't more material, but this is one of my all time favourite scores, so I'll pick it up for the remaster and to go with the other Intrada Donaggio/De Palma releases.

However, I have just discovered that 1982 Japanese re-recording and I MUST OWN IT.

If only Intrada would release De Palma's collaboration with Herrmann (a complete OBSESSION).

Why do you ask for a Intrada release of OBSESSION? I would appreciate any label to do this.

Are there any good session tapes anyway?

How are the odds of a splendid re-recording, coupled indeed with...THE FURY complete? People will go crazy about even a 3CD release if necessary, paying 40 bucks because the LSO does not work for food alone smile.
