Forever Mork to me. One of the few actors to make a very successful transition from TV to film. What a shame.

A gifted and unique talent. I hold out hope that somehow this is just a big reporting error.

My favorite stuff by him was always when he would play something straight and unexpectedly rip your heart out.

I am definitely going to sit down tonight and pop in "The Fisher King".

RIP.

Well I thought this was an internet hoax, but it's all over television tonight. RIP.

I loved him in "Mrs. Doubtfire" (his best comedy role) and especially "Awakenings" (for my money, his best dramatic role). R.I.P. Robin, you will be missed.

I've just found out about this 15 minutes ago and I'm completely devastated. What a shocking year 2014 has been for the film industry!!

Thank you, Robin, for your golden talent and your superbly intelligent sensibility. The void just cannot be filled.

May I recommend this wonderful program; "Shrink Rap" with Williams 'on the couch' with clinical psychologist Pamela Stevenson Connolly:

Williams betrays his emotional vulnerability in this program.

I'm playing Bicentennial Man by Horner to help me through this. Then I'll go to What Dreams May Come, then Toys, then Dead Poet's Society etc. etc. That's what helps me frown

I'm lost for words. It's like Robin was everyone's friend. I especially liked seeing him ad lib during interviews. Robin Williams was one of a kind and shall be missed greatly.

I was just floored by this news. So very sad. Throughout my life he has been a fixture on TV and film, and there will never be another like him.

Like everyone else, I'm shocked by this news. He's one of my favourite comedians of all time. But I was also aware of his problems.
