My favorite stuff by him was always when he would play something straight and unexpectedly rip your heart out. I am definitely going to sit down tonight and pop in "The Fisher King". What a shocking year 2014 has been for the film industry!! Thank you, Robin, for your golden talent and your superbly intelligent sensibility. The void just cannot be filled. It's like Robin was everyone's friend. I especially liked seeing him ad lib during interviews.
