In the mid 1960s, I remember seeing in a local record shop here in Stoke-on-Trent a 45 rpm, 7 inch Extended Play record containing four tracks from the Brunswick soundtrack LP of the film "Spartacus" (LAT 8363). It had the same cover design as the LP, red background; the stars images inside gold pieces, the title in white lettering with a black shadow underneath, ect. I'd had the soundtrack LP since the early 1960s, but I didn't buy this EP at the time (maybe I was short of money) and incredibly, I've not seen it since. I've been on eBay for over twelve years and it's never turned up on there, either, nor on Gemm or Music Stack or anywhere else. So this must be one hell of a rare EP. There are no Brunswick EP discographies on the Internet, so I can't find out any information on it. As the LP was released in 1960, the EP may date from around 1961. Does anyone here have any information on this EP, such as the catalogue number and titles of the tracks on it?
