Would really like to see a re-mastered CD release of Konrad Elfers score. Great spy film with an excellent, moody and jazzy score.

There was a re-mastered CD release - not real hard to find that information. RCA Spain, excellent sounding. Available from third-party sellers very reasonably - this took about six seconds to find smile

if that's the only CD release, maybe the OP meant he wanted a new release (remastering the master tapes).

The last CD edition from Spain WAS remastered from the album masters. I read his post that he wanted the old LP on CD - and it was released in that format. If he wants the entire score or expanded that's something else, but that's not what his post said.

Lovely little gem, a great album, would deserve much more appreciation. smile

The three Harry Palmer scores are – just like the movies – all quite different from each other, but each one is a fascinating listening experience in its own right.

Amazon sells directly, cheaply, new. Don't need third party sellers.

I would have included that link, only it's a CD-R burned on demand from some bootleg label so, you know, I didn't

Intradas new expanded release of FUNERAL IN BERLIN is great! The sound quality is stunning, and the score by Konrad Elfers is close to John Barry greatness.

Go shop, possums!

I have to agree. I had forgotten just how good this score is. I have the original RCA LP and I am delighted with this Intrada release.

I haven't seen the Movie for many years and have just ordered the DVD.

THANKS Intrada for this great CD.
