Confusingly the album isn't available on the UK or DE versions of Qobuz. But the DE site does have a 4.5 minute track from Star Wars Rebels and the audio dramas that are really popular here which the other sites don't have.

We really shouldn't have to jump through hoops to buy this stuff.

I picked this up from iTunes, and I have to say that I am very pleased. I bought mainly because I'm a Star Wars nerd, but this is a really well put together, enjoyable release. The score to the series was never very memorable to me apart from a few cues (mainly the Ahsoka season 5 cues that are included here), although I was never really watching to pay attention to the music (and never rewatched episodes). On album, the music really shines, and now I think that cherrypicking highlights from 6 seasons was definitely the way to go for album purposes. May be one of my favorite buys from this year, at least upon first listen!

Agreed...I never got hooked on the series but wow this is one hell of an album. Solidly grounded in the feel of Williams' score without being slavish copies, featuring wonderful quotes from Williams' themes. Most of the tracks are 2 1/2 minutes and under but the album flows really well, not having a stop/start feel. Excellent Star Wars music and excellent scoring. A great surprise.

A friend of mine who thought I would know these things asked me what cues were from which episodes. I haven't even heard this yet, so I'm completely clueless (although a couple of cue titles make some IDs easier).

Does anybody know?

For anyone who is interested, this digital album is on sale for only $5 on amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Seasons-Original-Soundtrack/dp/B00OSCR4AK/ref=pd_rhf_se_p_img_3

I am not sure how long this deal will last, so if you are interested, you may want to jump on it.

Thanks. I was interested in this release but was putting off a purchase. This is to good of a deal to pass up on.

Received the Clone Wars vinyl for Christmas together with some other goodies, included the double vinyl of Giacchino's last APES.

No contest here.
Giacchino's mega spectacular gatefold sleeve with extra insert overcomes extremely poor Clone Wars presentation
(I was naively expecting something similar to Williams' Phantom Menace double LP).

NOWADAYS, taking about vinyls is the look which counts.

Glad I picked this up. What a deal at $5 dollars! It's a really enjoyable score. I took one cue out and cross-faded the other tracks into longer suites. It was missing some sort of "end credits" so I added "A New Hope and End Credits" from Revenge of the Sith.

I can't fathom why they used such a boring cover art design. For those interested here's an alternative:

So anyone know what the heck these are then? Can't find any track listings anywhere. Looks like German for the episode titles. Are these two-episodes-per-CD CDs? Legit?

(Ignore the first 4 in this list, which are just the movie soundtrack and the regular TV soundtrack.)

It seems like they're story cd's; not music.
