Ruud Bos' De Efteling   Last Post   Posted:   Jul 31, 2014 - 4:36 AM     By:   johnbijl   (Member) Yesterday I paid another visit to De Efteling, world's most beautiful theme park. One of the attractions I always look forward is Droomvlucht (Dream Flight): basically a car ride through a puppet show. The set up is gorgeous. And so is the music, composed by Dutch composer Ruud Bos. Bos' composed more music for De Efteling (and more than a handful of films), but I think his work on Droomvlucht really stands out. Some of you (if not all) might like it as well. It's a fairly romantic composition full of fantasy and wonder with a delightful theme, gracefully performed by a full symphony orchestra. His music is really something and deserves every bit of attention as any Giacchino or Powell I especially love his music from Villa Volta: and Fata Morgana! Gorgeous! Many happy memories of the place. Oh, for the day when it really is a small world after all, and we can share these international treasures. But thanks for letting us know about this, and for the links. Have always loved the Villa Volta theme. Proper power anthem. Same for Vogelrok, that is a strong theme... the way Hans Zimmer's theme used to be strong and cool, you know, back in the 90s.
