Just got mine yesterday as a belated birthday gift. Damn, these were beautifully restored! I found the bonus features less than interesting and would have preferred the screen tests, Killer Moth Batgirl pilot and ABC promos of the time. Unless they're on there and I haven't seen them yet.

And I didn't see them, because they are included on the bonus disc. Not the ABC promo's, though. However, the "new equipment" tag from the second season was included on the replacement disc 1.

I'll probably end up buying it next year, but a non-tat version, like they're releasing in Germany...& a wee bit cheaper.

This is definitely the version to go for. I'm sure they'll be everywhere sometime after Christmas. Apart from anything else I still have the originals of those cards from the sixties, and two different Batmobiles including one exactly like the little Hot Wheels one! Holy nostalgia!

I saw this today in HMV Meadowhall, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, UK Batfans on dvd at £59.99. Surely the BD is coming too, though I'm not seeing it yet on Amazon (though on the UK site some 'joker' is selling the dvds at over £100 take care). No need for the non-tat version.

For European price minded collectors this seems to be the cheapest thus far:

Anyone know if there's a British release on the horizon yet?

£39 plus p&p, I'm tempted. Only the big box edition from Amazon UK so far.

Yes, and now it's confirmed the Italian one has the corrected discs, and a box in English (with an easily removed sticker in Italian on the reverse), mine's ordered. Can't wait now. Holy Amazon Italy!

I purchased the limited set well after most here and went to the replacement disc site and filled it out. I received my replacement discs very quickly.

Am I alright to say that I received my Italian set last week, but am not allowed to open it until my actual 54th birthday on Friday!!?? The only thing I could see before it was snatched out of my hands for wrapping was, it's A DIDGI-PACK!

After all the REAL concern about video quality/missing scenes etc, I'm upset now by it being all in cardboard!!! Wish it had been in nice plastic cases.

And YES I know how this sounds. But we all have our specific/pedantic/annoying ways don't we?
