The jewelry store repairman told me that it's gotten nearly impossible to find parts to repair mechanical watches. So, even though they're the kind I'd rather own, they're not worth trying to find.
Looks like we're stuck with buying watch batteries forever and ever.
And soon they will all be smart watches that give you updates on e-mails you received. Just lovely isn't it?! Though the people I know who got smart watches have told me that they really love it.
I dislike watches in general, and even less so something that is going to bother me by emailing me and talking to me disrupting my peaceful daydreaming as I walk in the park of whatever.
