The rest of the room was totally silent, only two other people. Yes, I've witnessed nasty, racist Brit behaviour in an Indian restaurant too, they ran off as soon as the Police turned up. In my travels I've also encountered LOUD Americans, abusive Germans, ignorant French, sexist Indians, racist Australians, thieving Spaniards, and the list goes on.... I guess we can all throw stones from our own glass houses ( I do love clichés ) This is surprising. Just a couple of nights ago I watched 'Mrs. Miniver' and everyone was so polite! One thing I've noticed is groups of women tend to become very loud, especially when alcohol is involved. The critical mass seems to be about six people.
