In the event that we have someone on our ignore list, is it possible to have their content ignored when others quote it?

There is one particular insufferable boor/bore whom I have successfully ignored, until others quote content by him.

Ironically, given the circumstances under which I see hime quoted, I would suspect that others would be as happy as I to see him ignored.

Then may I point out that you are free to ignore anyone, just don't read what they post even when quoted by others.

I do it all the time....

No one puts a gun to ANYONE'S HEAD and forces them to read anything here at last report.

Or am I mistaken

Quit signing your name at the bottom of your posts...it's pretentious.

Been doing it for last 15 years or so.

It doesn't seem to hurt anyone "Mr. Jack"..

I have never used the IGNORE feature and find it silly. I mean it's a silly forum on the internet. If folks get THAT worked up to the point of their blood boiling over what someone says. I can't even IMAGINE how they are in real life. I've never used the feature and never will. Ford is right, just don't read their nonsense. smile

No we don't have this technical ability. It's not really workable when you think about it. We will continue work on the Tantalus Field however.
