I saw Taylor at Creature Features on Saturday. I can confirm this is happening and soon.

I've received neither an order confirmation nor a shipping notice from Creature Features. They extracted the funds from my Paypal account, though. I'll continue to wait.

Exact same thing here, Adam. I usually don't worry about this sort of thing too much but I bought multiple items and when you part with the money that far in advance with no confirmation (except withdrawn funds) ya start to get nervous!

Yeah, waiting for my copy. Need a fix badly. Really miss Doohan and Kelley after watching most of remastered seasons 1&2.

Thanks for pointing us to the update Adam. I had given up checking their site for some kind of information.

Well, as frustrating as it is (and as much as it raises the spectre of further "put back" announcements), I guess we have to remember we're not dealing with a major company here but a rather niche one where production and distribution problems are harder to overcome than they are for the big players.

As long as it's still coming and CF don't go under in the meantime, I'll be happy.

Taking peoples money and not keeping them up to date on delays is bad form.

I'm in the same boat...waiting patiently for what I'm sure will be a great read!

Yeah, an update to those who have pre-ordered would have been nice. Still, I am very much looking forward to the book, even though it is delayed.

Has anyone received their book or a shipping notice from Creature Features?

Nope! I sent an email to them a couple of months ago and got no response. I think it's to late to request a refund from PayPal too.

I still want to own that book. Hopefully, it won´t be cancelled.

Originally, I felt the same way as you, mostly hoping it wouldn't be cancelled.

Now I'm just worried that I have to write off a big chunk of money (this and the unfilled rest of my order.)

Like others here, I wrote. I was really upbeat and polite. I was just looking for some kind of verification that my complete pre-paid, multiple-item order wasn't lost. I even wrote that I didn't require an immediate reply, being such a small scale operation, I knew it wasn't a priority. But like everyone else, I have never heard a thing.

It better be on the move soon, LK, or else you and PNJ will both be fitted for a pair of concrete galoshes. And I know where both of you live yeh Heh HEH!

Thanks Lukas. Personally, I never really worried that the book wouldn't eventually come out. I'd bet that most of us get (and appreciate) what an under-the-radar, and difficult to produce effort this is.

If there had been any real communication (directly from the people I paid), I wouldn't mind the wait at all; it will be worth it I'm sure. But the lack of any sort of receipt of purchase, order ID, (other than a charge to my paypal), or direct update to buyers is my problem. Anything we've learned, we've learned from each other, not CF.

Then, weeks back, when I wrote CF directly about the status of the rest of my order, (besides PNJ's book), and got no reply, it's hard not to start to worry.

You know from my long history of slobbering notes of praise how appreciative a customer I've been – since the newsletter days. Alas, you have spoiled us and we expect FSM's professionalism and exceptional product from anyone we order from. Pretty hard shoes to fill. smile

Here's another one I'll definitely buy.

Which will arrive first, I wonder . . .
