No, not porn. All the Emannuelle films qualify but I'm looking for legit films but not that Annette Funicello crap. For example: 1975 Waves of Lust (Italy) -- directed by Ruggero Deodato. 1977 The Deep -- directed by Peter Yates. 1980 The Blue Lagoon -- directed by Randall Kleiser. 1984 Blame It On Rio -- directed by Stanley Donen. 1984 Year of the Jellyfish (France) -- directed by Christopher Frank. Ah, the French! 2005 Into the Blue -- directed by John Stockwell. 2009 Into the Blue 2: the Reef -- directed by Stephen Herek. I like this one a lot. There must be a lot more. Water, boats, bikinis, beaches, some scuba diving. I think it might qualify. (If you watch it, let me know where exactly Underwater Lesbians live. I see my good friend Bill has introduced the idea of Bond films fitting this criterion. I'd like to suggest in addition to Thunderball, the following: Doctor No You Only Live Twice Diamonds Are Forever The Man With the Golden Gun Die Another Day all of which provide either protracted or memorable (or both) bikini-related scenes. It pushed boundaries a little further than they'd been pushed in Hollywood films in awhile. I watched it again recently and it holds up fine. Very 1980s. Thanks, everyone, for contributing.
