I have discovered some interesting albums that I didn't expect to find. Also, for those of us who can't afford to purchase as many CDs as we want, I have been able to listen to a lot of scores prior to making a decision to purchase. They even had the latest X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST prior to it's availability on Amazon/iTunes.
After purchasing (and falling in love with) David Raskin's LAURA thru Kritzerland I used Spotify to listen and discover additional David Raskin music that I was unfamiliar with. And they have a lot of the Charles Gerhardt's Film Score Re-recordings.

I got a Spotify notification this morning that John Barry's "King Kong" was now available. Even though I have every single release of it, it is nice to know it is there on Spotify whenever I need to "Hit The Big Apple" with Kong.
Just saw that "The Genius of Film Music: Hollywood Blockbusters, 1960-1980" with John Mauceri conducting The London Philharmonic Orchestra is available on Spotify ahead of it's release on Amazon tomorrow.
