I figured you would show up, everyone has opinions on everything and you try to create your own double standard. So then, we can only talk about disturbing in a few simple perceptions . Blood or gore or sexual activity, and not characters in films of dubious means? I brought in another form of how people get disturb by films with an incredible amount of films to give examples of and you want to close the gates and want to turn this into kindergarden.The more you think about it the more limited and silly you are trying to make this thread. If you say a world war 2 film, would that be insulting the perpetrators of such a war?, what is wrong with that.If you mention a crime film, would that be insulting possibly the mob or crime group. What is wrong with that? BUT if somebody brought up ALL THE PRESIDENT'S MEN , you would be happy and not a peep from you.

You know it is interesting the more one thinks about this how silly the people here who are ranting against everything they don' like. I could simply state this which might be a small thing and yet really isn't. Let's say I am one of many people in this world who find it disturbing that a husband would go to a streetwalker[a john] cheating on his wife and finding that some John's might get arrested as well as get a bad image in their community for such an act. Then as a typical person see, what JFK DID, with those type of ventures, with big money, brothels, big time hoods etc etc,and not a peep from the so call law.Then as a average Joe I would be disturb at the double standard of society of how we can call someone a hero . I am human I would be disturb if my father did that to my mother[cheating many times] and my father didn't have a powerful position in government.Now I bet some people, here might have thought I was going to bring up something bigger against JFK, but then that is my point.It is sadly nothing new, but too often we lose our moral coating in our lives when we bring the social media into play, no less one's we foolishly call heroes. Simple great statements can help us along the way. Don't do to others what we wouldn't want done on ourselves.

it would be sad if this is locked, because the question on this thread states, disturbing films you have seen. This isn't 1984, must our brains be censored, Every war film, crime film etc etc has some degree of characters who are committing acts. Where is the line and what films would be left to talk about- SALO? well, who was behind that?Sign of the cross? ROMAN GOVERMENT, where does this end?
