Still the quest of finding the actual CD (holding all this wonderful music) is on. So if anybody would like to share links to Swedish websites that might be worth checking out from time to time, then please be my guest. Or do Swedish people never sell CDs second-hand?

In any case do you have any idea why there never where any proper score-releases for films like "Ronja Rövardotter"? After all most "Astrid Lindgren"-films were rather popular at their time and not just in Sweden ...
I´m from Sweden and missed this cd when I could have bought it in the cd-store many years ago. My idea was to pick up it later but unfortunately I didn´t see it anymore after that. I think it´s very hard to find nowadays. If I will find it I certainly will have you Bishop in mind.
Have you heard this beautiful music composed by Björn Isfält collaborator Lasse Dahlberg? It´s for a very popular Christmas-series from 1979 called Trolltider. For us who were children in Sweden in the late seventies(it was reprised in the eighties) this music is so nostalgic.

Actually I had to cancel a trip with a friend to a film convention in London because of this. That friend goes to that convention each year in London and we had talked about what if I could tag along to London but I decided that I had to get back to L.A. instead.

thanks for your absolutely lovely offer! I'd love to come to this event, even more so as Peter is truly a herald of greatness on this board. Alas it's a great distance and with a young family of my own it's just not possible for the next time(s).

Not sure yet if I am going alone or not. My parents may or may not be going with me this time. My dad turns 70 just a week before the event so he might be considering going away on a trip but he have not yet decided where he wanna go.
Each and every friend who I have spoken with regarding FFM have said that they cannot afford it so they will not be traveling with me.
